The 45X hydraulically operated check valve utilizes the inherent pressure of the medium in the pipeline and hydraulic principles to achieve opening, closing, and check functions. Its primary design objective is to eliminate or significantly reduce the water hammer effect (the "bang" and pressure surge) produced by conventional check valves when closing. Therefore, it is also known as a "silent check valve" or "silent check valve."
